Thank you all who voted for me! I am honored to have your support, and will work hard in the next four years. Northfield’s schools have a highly qualified staff, community support and parents who understand that they are the most responsible teachers for their own children. Together we can continuously improve an already excellent system.
We must all fight to maintain and improve good public schools. Hillary Clinton said it well, when she offered this: “One reason I support improving our public school system through higher standards and greater accountability and oppose weakening it through vouchers is that it brings together children of all races, relgions and backgrounds, and has shaped and sustained our pluralistic society.”
Our charge as board members is to focus on the good and constantly strive to improve.
